Hi, after suffering from droop for some time I finally bought a BSA one piece adjustable mount for my MK1 BSA Lightning. These mounts used to be made by a reputable company who no longer trade I believe and now come from China. Sadly and given the very high price, the quality is terrible. The first lot I got stripped the adjusting screw threads & mounts in seconds despite taking every care.
My supplier sent a replacement in double quick time, very impressed and I tentatively refitted my scope. Happily I found detailed fiting and adjusting instructions on the web as none are suppled with the BSA mounts - an other black mark.
After spending a long time I did acheive a good fit with adequate compensation for the offset Maxi Rail/Scope mounts & droop but had to strip it all down for a thorough clean of the screw and threads before refitting/adjusting again and locking down with Blue Loctite as otherwise all the screws just come undone - remember you cannot overtighten them or you will strip their threads.
Eventually I now have a properly adjusted scope and groups are at last reasonable 3/4" at 25 yards with H&N Field & Target Trophy .22's. Just a shame the BSA suffers so much barrel droop and Maxi Rail/scope rail offset/level issues.
So unless you have a very good reason I would stear clear of these BSA mounts.

A CO2 air rifle has no recoil issues and should therefore accept any scope, assuming it otherwise fits!
